knife block redo...

i still feel like this project is missing something...
but i'm going to post it anyways. =)

a can of spray paint goes a long ways!
after the mug tree i went on to think
"what can i paint next?"
and i came up with my knife block.

take a look at the pictures:

what do you think?
i like the difference it's made but it's still lacking something,
maybe a nice vinyl "L"
i loooove "L"s.
now i just need a cricut, everyone call my husband please?
haha!

hope everyone had a wonderful Monday! =)

i'm linking up to these parties:

  1. I love you knife block! I just did the same thing to mine a few weeks ago! I don't have a cricut either so instead I printed an "H" for my last name off the computer in black, taped it to a piece of white paper, cut the whole thing out, then once I had a white H I mod podged it to my kife block. It turned out great! You'd never know it wasn't vinyl!

  3. Oh ya, a vinyl letter would look awesome! I did one like that in March if you'd like to see what yours will look like with a monogram. I love mine!
